Peter Surrey, co-founder of forensic.expert, the boutique security and forensics firm, has designed, secured and investigated complex digital systems for 30 years. He was trained at the UK Defence Academy and formerly ran the forensic practice at a noted Mayfair consultancy firm. He has particular expertise in the investigation of computer- and network-mediated crime, including fraud, theft of intellectual property, cyber-stalking and hacking in the context of commercial and family disputes, and in determining the authenticity of questioned electronic documents. He has managed sensitive investigations throughout the EMEA region, in sub-Saharan Africa (Uganda, Republic of Congo) and the Middle East (Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia), in Ukraine, India and Pakistan and has served as both a single and joint expert before the UK High Court, the DIFC Court in Dubai, the London Court of International Arbitration, and other domestic and international forums.
